“It is to inform you that CIRP has been initiated in respect of Essar Power Jharkhand Limited (“Corporate Debtor”) under the provisions of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (“Code”) by an order of Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Delhi – Principal Bench (“NCLT”) with effect from April 05, 2018 (“Order”). As per the Order passed by NCLT, Mr. Huzefa Fakhri Sitabkhan, having IP Registration no. IBBI/IPA-001/IP-P00031/2017-18/10115, have been appointed as the Interim Resolution Professional for the Corporate Debtor. A copy of the Order is enclosed for your ready reference. Pursuant to the Order, a public announcement has been made on April 09, 2018 under Regulation 6 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Insolvency Resolution Process for Corporate Persons) Regulations, 2016, inter alia, calling upon the creditors of the Corporate Debtor to submit their claims and proof thereof on or before April 19, 2018 (copy enclosed).
